2009 is shaping up to be a busy and exciting year for GLOBALHealthPR, the largest independent public relations organisation dedicated exclusively to health and medical communications worldwide.

The network has opened new offices, launched a second edition of the popular Global Guide to Pharma Marketing Codes and announced its partnership with a leading research organisation.

GLOBALHealthPR has announced an expansion in Latin America by welcoming two new partner firms; PR Partners in Mexico (http://www.prp.com.mx) and Tino – Projetos em Comunicação in Brazil (www.tinocomunicacao.com.br).

Now in league with PR Partners and Tino, GLOBALHealthPR expands its level of expertise to include more than 250 healthcare communications specialists from 10 member agencies in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. In the UK, GLOBALHealthPR is represented by Aurora.

“The addition of PR Partners and Tino, two well-established and reputable agencies in Latin America, enhances our network’s reach and influence in important health care markets,” said Claire Eldridge, managing director of London-based Aurora. “Washington-based US partner, Spectrum also opened a New York office earlier this year so it’s been an exciting year so far.”

GLOBALHealthPR maintains long-standing partnerships, spanning four continents, with successful, intuitive agencies that have renowned expertise serving health clients in their local markets.

Global Guide popularity leads to a second edition

The second edition of The Global Guide to Pharma Marketing Codes, with foreword by Louis Morris Ph.D., Former Acting Director and Branch Chief of the Drug Marketing, Advertising, and Communications (DDMAC) Division at the FDA, provides an overview of basic healthcare promotional regulations.

The Guide was originally developed and launched by GLOBALHealthPR last May, it answers the most frequently asked questions about what is and isn’t permitted with respect to the media and third party involvement. It has proved so popular with clients that a second, updated version was required.

The guide is available to buy from the GLOBALHealthPR website (www.globalhealthpr.com) or alternatively you can contact Aurora in London directly to request a complimentary copy.
