This Friday finds the Aurora office bright, woolly and very cosy, as we take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day! All of us at Aurora have travelled to work sporting jumpers either bought, borrowed or blinged, and donated money to Save the Children to contribute towards their life-changing work with the world’s most [...]

In the last couple of weeks a stranger has appeared in the Aurora office, or, to be more specific, the Aurora fridge. We have branched out into the new and (mildly) exciting world of caffeine-free Coca-Cola and our trendy 1950’s style fridge is glittering festively with red (full-fat), silver (diet) and gold (caffeine-free) aluminium goodness. As the rain pours down and the Environment Agency issues eight new flood warnings in South West England, a region currently in drought, I face the challenge of getting the rotters to school without getting drenched. Having spent a good ten minutes wrapping them up and finding their Tinkerbell and Hello Kitty umbrellas so that [...]

First, the rotter’s stick insect, Georgie, was found dead one morning in her urban jungle. It wasn’t obvious at first, as stick insects aren’t known [...]

On leap day, Aurora proudly came ninth out of 21 teams at the Annual Agency Healthcare Quiz, which was brilliantly organised by last year’s winner Fleishman-Hillard. Aurora walked away with a new team mascot, the Aurora Boar, which was modelled by this blog post author as part of the quiz. Our mascot won top slot and gave [...]

Just in case you hadn’t noticed, it is official that cupcakes now totally trump the M&S flapjack or chocolate cornflake tubs. So imagine the Aurora team excitement when a moment ago our client Tessa brought in TWO boxes of these miniature cupcakes… We don’t ‘necessarily’ want to start a competition between clients about who brings the best [...]

After five wonderful years in the heart of North London’s fun and quirky Camden Town, Aurora has moved to our new offices in Farringdon (EC1). It feels like coming home as Claire and I actually met each other (fresh faced in our twenties) at an agency which was based only a few blocks away. This [...]

The Aurora team had an outing to The Raceway in London’s Docklands. Our competitive natures were out in force as we will wanted to be the winner in our go-karts. Who took the number one spot on the podium and who got the fastest lap? Who couldn’t master the trick of opening the crash helmet visor? All is revealed… [...]
